- Partnering with people who have similar veiw-points and values.
- Associating kinky practices with meditation, prayer, or religious activity.
- Unwillingness or inability to engage with kink (and sometimes all sex) in ways that are out of line with one’s deeply held beleifs.
- Development of specific rituals within a dynamic that honor the spiritual nature of play, power-exchange, and other facets of BDSM and kink.
